In order to prevent and control environmental pollution, improve environmental quality and promote the technological progress of pollution prevention and control in the printing industry, on January 8, the State Ministry of Ecological Environment issued an environmental protection standard-"Practical Technical Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control in the Printing Industry". The document proposes eight feasible technologies for pollution prevention and control of waste gas, waste water, solid waste and noise in the printing industry, including applicable scope, normative reference documents, terms and definitions, industrial production and pollutant generation, pollution prevention technology, pollution control technology, environmental management measures and feasible technologies for pollution prevention and control, focusing on pollution prevention technology, pollution control technology, environmental management measures and feasible technologies for pollution prevention and control. In addition, the "Technical Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control in Printing Industry" also includes four informative appendices: printing process flow and main pollution-producing links, VOCs mass ratio and characteristic pollutants of raw and auxiliary materials containing VOCs in printing industry, pollution-producing links and production levels of VOCs in printing production, and waste gas collection technology in printing production.
